The following information is extracted from: "History and Genealogy of the Family of Thomas Noble" by Lucius M. Boltwood, 1878, reprinted by Higginson Book Company, Salem, MA, 1990:
Timothy Noble, son of John, was born Southwick, Mass, Apr. 8, 1758, and there died of apoplexy, March 3, 1827, age 68. He served out two drefts in the American Revolution. At the evacuation of Ticondroga, having more baggage than he could carry, he foolishly threw away his rations and was in consequence obliged to fast for three days. He was chosen the first deacon of the Baptist church in Southwick, constituted in 1806, and retained the office until his death.
He had brown hair and hazel eyes, was of medium height, thin in flesh, and mild in dosposition. Between him and his brother, Amos, there existed a wonderful attachment, not unlike that of Damon and Pythias, in ancient story. From their father they inherited a farm of four hundred acres, on condition of paying some debts and small legacies. This they never divided, but held all things in common, and were seldom seen apart. While working in the field, if anything called upon one to return to the house, the other was sure to accompany him. How mich hapier would this world be, if children of the same father always manifested a similsr affection for each other!
He married May 29, 1783, Sally Taylor, born July 11, 1764, daughter of Phinehas and Mercy (Wells) Taylor of Southwick. She died August 22, 1842 at 78.
Timothy married Sally Taylor on 29 May 1783 in Seffield, Berksire County Massachusetts. (Sally Taylor was born on 11 Jul 1764 in Southwick, Hamden County, Massachusetts, died on 22 Aug 1842 in Southwick, Hamden County, Massachusetts and was buried in Southwick Cemetery, Southwick, Hampden County, Massachusetts.)
