Military Service. He was one of the Royal Commanders at the Battles of Bosworth in 1485 and Stoke in 1487. He was appointed King's Sergeant by Henry VII. in 1504 he became High Steward of Cambridge University. He founded a Chantry at Turvey, whose Chaplains were to teach grammar to the boys of the parish.
