Obituary: Freeport Journal-Standard, 7 Apr 1932, Freeport, Ilinois. Funeral services for the late Mrs. Caroline Richart Angle, who passed away at the home of her son, Harry J. Angle, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, April 4, will be conducted from the Wagner funeral home, S. Chicago Avenue, at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Dr. D.L. McNary, pastor of the First Presbyterian church will conduct the services and interment will be made in Cedarville cemetery. The following will act as bearers: Orville Clingman, Edward Ruth, Loy Bell, H. Rutherford, Will Jackson, Thomas Bell.
Caroline Richart, known to her many friends as Carrie Angle, was born in Buckeye Township, August 24, 1853. Her parents moved to Cedarville in November, 1856, and she grew to womanhood there, attending the public school as a young girl.
She was united in marriage to W.B. Angle, February 28, 1878, and they moved at once to his home at White rock, Kansas, where they resided until 1898 when they moved back to the Angle farm where they remained until 1904, moving to Freeport, making their home at 1206 S. Oad Avenue. Mr. Angle passed away in 1923. Six children were born, four of whom preceded their mother in death. J. Harry Angle, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, R. Ralph Angle, on the home farm (survive). There is also a sister, Mrs. C.E. Foster, Fostoria, IA and eight grandchildren.
