Daniel Frybarger, an old resident of the First ward, died at 10 o'clock this morning from the effects of a paralytic stroke received a few days since. He was born December 2, 1816, in Pennsylvania, being one of five children of Daniel and Catharine Cramer Frybarger. He came to Ohio May 25, 1826, with his parents who, with the Beelers and Garvers, formed quite a colony a few miles below this city. He subsequently served four years as a carpenter apprentice with old Daniel Beaver, and afterward followed his trade, and lived in the First ward up to his death. September 18, 1840, he married Miss Mary, daughter of Benjamin and Mary Davis, and eight children resulted from the union, but three of whom survive, William Frybarger, Mrs. George C. Walter and Mrs. A. J. Adams. Throughout his long life he was an upright, honest citizen. His funeral will take place from his residence at 435 Boudinot street Monday afternoon at 2;30 o'clock. Place of interment, Greenwood cemetery.
